Chef’s Bio
Chef Jonathon Sawyer is an acclaimed American chef celebrated for his
inventive cooking, TV presence, and literary contributions. A James
Beard Award winner for Best Chef: Great Lakes, a Food & Wine Best New Chef Alumni, and Bon Appétit Best New Restaurant recipient. Sawyer has also authored two cookbooks and appeared on culinary shows such as Tournament of Champions, Guy’s Grocery Games, Bobby Flay’s Triple Threat, and Wild Card Kitchen and was a winner on Alex vs America. Sawyer currently helms Kindling Wood-Fired Kitchen in Chicago.
